Do you track your TT or TTS Cabriolet?

Just wondering about to pull the trigger on a Cab but I'm doing some homework about the tracks and there are still some tracks that won't accept the roll over protection in the Cabs.

Have you guys had any issues getting on the track? In particular on the East Coast? I know VIR is out, what about NJMP, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio?

Thanks

Jeff

I run mine at Mid-Ohio, and Putnam (west of Indianapolis). Just about to start a thread about 991 track experiences...

You run a Cab at Track Days, is the insurance any more expensive if you have any experience running hard top cars at TD's?

Most tracks I know require either a coupe or a roll cage/bar that extends above the driver's helmet in the case of a Cabriolet. I was told by a couple of tracks, Monticello Motor Club and Lime Rock. that the Porsche Cab's pop-up bars would not qualify unless they could be manually raised - I don't know if that is possible, I suspect it is not.

Most tracks in my experience will let the event's organizing club make that call.
