because the 991.1 MF wheel didn't come with paddles. you had to pick which you wanted. the Macan MF wheel had paddles and also a shorter pull.


this is a moot point now that the new 991.2 steering wheel has been redesigned.


and, no, you can't retrofit one of the new wheels on a 991.1. it's been tried and failed.

I have the MF wheels and got the Techart shift paddles). They work well but feel flimsy. I always flick them gently

Well i planning to remove MF buttons, i have ordered GT cover that looks like this: Link

Anyway i want to know is the macan steering same shape/size as on new 991.2?
As from the pictures they look identical.. Also same airbag on both

I bought macan steering wheel with airbag here from local guys in EU (~800euro with airbag!).
Ordered this silver trim at porsche: 95B-419-732-GT8

Now thinking what next

it can be done, and multifunction works as well with an adapter! works across 997/987/991 etc as it was shared last week on the Facebook 997 custom retrofit modification forum.
