Lowered, Exhaust and ECU done...waiting on headers

Can't say enough about what a difference my GMG lowering springs, GMG Exhaust and GIAC ECU tune have had on this already amazing car. Headers are in process, and hopefully installed within the next week. Car is about 1" lower, and I swear rides more comfortably around town than stock in Sport mode. Off to the big track at Willow June 18th, so we will see how it all works out where this car was made for....

Sweet, what are your impressions on the chip? Did you do the 91 octane program as well as 100 octane for the track?

Love it! Especially at the low end. Scary torque so quickly. Improved throttle response. I do plan on the 100 octane option, but they were still working on that package when I bought. So just running 91 for now

Do you daily drive your car? If so, any concerns with the drop in terms of clearance? Will you be driving your car in the winter, if you live in a part of the country where you have winters?

Yep drive it daily. Have driven from Oregon to Southern California on last trip. No winters here in California to speak of... Clearance wise I just need to be careful. No different than many other low clearance cars. Cut driveways at 45 degree angles, etc.

plenum is a very popular mod in these comunity , there is a forum in 997 turbo section with dyno proof and great gains . As you can see from the picture the stock plastic plenum T design is crap and it slow downs air , the ipd plenum ypipe is a better design and increase air speed .. more air is = hp

you have nothing to loose I think
aslo you can ask because ipd used to have a 30 days return policy if you dont like the product

BBI has installed a few on the 991 as well so they would be a good resource to ask about it.
