Techart power kit installed...OMG
Just installed the techart power kit ...picked my car up from the guys at Tech9 here in the UK after the installation ...620bhp now...1 word to describe the car now...
Ferocious !!!
Ferocious !!!
Not tested 0-100 yet but will do soon...all I can say from 80-150 the car is so fast...a significant improvement in the power in 3rd and 4th gear over stock..and techart have assured me that it's totally untraceable at service time..plus 2 year warranty from techart if anything fails linked to the ecu upgrade..can't wait to launch it ...

While not a direct side-by-side comparison, I think you will find a lot of valuable information here:

GIAC - Flashed ECU Upgrade w/ Switchable Programs
TechArt - Piggy Back ECU
GIAC - $3499
TechArt - $5995
GIAC - TO THE WHEELS - 530HP & 546FT/LBS TQ
TechArt - TO THE CRANK - 611HP & 650FT/LBS TQ
Overall Driving Impressions - I have logged about 3000 miles on the GIAC file on my personal 991 Turbo S, the car is much more responsive, especially on the lower end and pulls hard all the way until redline. I have always had the ability to switch directly from STOCK, to RACE to PUMP modes which is nice. The TECHART upgrade is essentially Plug & Play - although the power is not as great as the GIAC, it feels very very strong until redline, and the ability to actually put EVERYTHING back to stock by pulling the module out (must be done by your local shop) is also a nice feature. But the question is is it worth the additional $2500? - Personally i dont believe it is. We have flashed 1,000's of cars with the GIAC Files, and TAG, Champion, GMG etc all use the same flashing tools, the same files (91 vs 93 octane differences obviously), and we all get the same results, with the same bulletproof program and reliability from our friends at GIAC. This is why we all go with GIAC.
For those of you who are interested in flashing their car with GIAC, or are hesitating between either another Tuner, or GIAC - Give us a call... I will offer you a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee (labor included).

So basically few obvious key differences.

Thanks. 530 whp is nice, but do you have a base line Dyno on the same car on the same day for comparison? My M5 dynoed in the same range stock because of the difference in German Dyno equipment and American Dyno equipment. Reality is it was much lower on the euro dyno's baseline comparisons are the only way to know the gain throughout the rpm range.
