New TTS Owner Thinking of Pulling the Trigger on an Exhaust (Pics of Car Included)

Alright, so I picked up my 2015 911 TTS a little over two weeks ago and vowed to myself I wouldn't do a thing to it. The next thing I know, I have an appointment for GIAC software and thinking of ordering an exhaust and plenum and just doing it all at once.

Here's my main concerns I was hoping you guys could help me out with. I want more sound from the car but don't want anything too loud or racey, I'm not trying to turn this car into something I can't drive. Also I want no drone which is huge for me so I can use my bluetooth, carry on a conversation etc.

What in your opinions is my best option?

you can go with any exhaust in the market and there will be no drone. I'm running full cat less exhaust with the header and there is almost no drone. I would suggest Cargraphic.

Good luck

Akrapovic if they have built one for the 991 Turbo. Pricey but the best. Your car deserves it. Just get the slip on version.

Mine came with FVD and it's loud but no drone. I have Dinan Freeflow axleback on my M5 with Noelle high flow down pipes and that isn't as loud as the Porsche. I will post a comparison side by side when I get back to Austin tomorrow.

Check out the Tubi Street Exhaust. 200 cell HJS cats, a great aggressive sound, and I can personally guarantee you won't hear any drone inside the car.

LOL... nothing like opinions. Here goes another one. I went with the GIAC tune and GMG exhaust and absolutely love the combination. The only way to know if you'll like the tone, volume and drone (yes, they all have what I would consider drone) is to go for a ride in the car set up with the exhaust you're considering and hear it for yourself.

Dmogolf74 is infamous around these parts
I have the Fabspeed exhaust and GIAC tune on my 14 TTS and love the combination. Just ordered the IPD plenum and will install it next week.

I have the supersport performance package that includes the headers. The sound is great and the power with the GIAC tune is incredible. I would highly recommend the combination.

Man so many options, thanks everyone for chiming in. One member was kind enough to offer me checking out the sound on his europipe in person so I definitely am going to take him up on that.

While everyone has a different opinion it seems, what's great is that everybody seems to love what they have which is a great sign that I can't go wrong with my decision!
