Well, I just received a photocopy of the DME done on the 2014 911 Turbo S talked about above. Hey....just a bunch of numbers and comments, none of which make any sense to me. Did they send me the wrong report or is it in some kind of code?

The DME report shows actual values about the engine that are useful to a technician. There also shouldn’t be any problems showing on yours with less than 600 miles on a certified car. You can see the operating hours on the engine… I doubt it is more than 30.
For a typical used MT Porsche, it would be important to look at the “Number of ignitions at speed” for ranges 1 thru 6. On a PDK, not so much since the computer manages the shifting. Your PDK might have some over rev numbers in the lower ranges due to some exuberant driving.
An MT car with over revs in ranges 4 thru 6, like from a missed shift from 5th to 2nd, won't qualify for a CPO, and could be grounds for denied warranty coverage.
