Changed my mind regarding the exterior color of the car.

I've had 2 other Cararra white cars. Liked them a great deal with the black interiors. But, tho't I'd do something different.

I remember in 1976 when I was getting out of school ... had no funds, but would go to the Porsche dealership weekends to press my nose up against the glass to view the new cars. I even have a brochure (still have it and others) from 1976 and the new Turbo.

Wow .... !! I still remember the color and the outrageous whale tail out the back. Tho't it was the baddest P-car I'd ever seen.

I revisited that brochure (and others) tonight. Figure I'll keep the espresso / CF interior and go with Anthracite Brown exterior. Much like the original Turbo. Continue with the same/same other stuff ... the satin black Classic Sport wheels, but added the blacked out headlights. Yellow gauges, maybe yellow stitching, too. Looks waaaaay good on the 3D Porsche site IMO.

Will have to add a clear bra, tho. And, of course tint the windows.

What do you folks think?

Certainly would not be my choice in color, but that does not matter one bit. It's your car and you need to be happy.

Carrara white is not carrara white metallic. They are two different colors and look more different than you might think. Brown on brown is an interesting combination and will certainly make your car unique! Looking forward to pics upon delivery!

I think Cararra white and (plain) white are the only 2 optios on the build site.

Yeah, been looking at examples of anthacite brown cars this morning. Some look better than others to me. Lighting makes it difficult to tell. I'd like to see one in person.

Of course, this is just the 'preliminary dance'. I'm sure the configuration will be modified .... maybe even the color.

Nope. If you want Carrara white, you will have to do PTS. The configurator options are standard white or Carrera white metallic. But this may be all academic for you, as I think brown on brown will be a beautiful and unique way to go. Both anthracite and mahogany are terrific colors. And the espresso natural leather interior is lovely.

I've had white coupes/cabs, red and black cars ... several silver cars, too.
But, no brown cars.

Sorta sounds odd, tho. A brown sports car?

Anyway, I suppose everyone knows how this goes. You decide to get a car, then spend endless hours configuring and reconfiguring the car ... changing the color and options several times.

I agree, tho .... both Anthacite and Mahogany are looking like the 2 contenders at the present time. Mahogany is trending a bit higher.

Well, I'm back to a Cararra white metallic car. Everything is difficult.

Adding to the stuff is the burnt orange contrasting stitching on the espresso leather. Pretty pricey at over $3300. So, the sticker goes beyond $167K (ouch!). Dealer giving me $5K off ... BIG deal, eh. But, I've got some smallish things that will bring the cost down a bit.

For example, my HREs are worth some $$, as is the Cargraphic exhaust ... both which I'll take off. The car will sell at the dealership for around $82K+. So, I may have a 'check' from the dealership when I turn it in since my 'buy out' is around $61K. We'll see.

Plus, they'll tint, clear bra, wire my RD, clear markers ... maybe PC my wheels, too. Yeah, it's not huge discounts, but doesn't seem to be many. I contacted a couple other dealers and they were not interested in working with me on anything. Times change, eh.

Like it! Non S, no sun roof, clear tail lights, no label on the back, clean, simple, nice.
