Races--Airstrip Attack 7

This was one of largest airport race events ever. I decided to take my 991 TTS with GIAC tune and GMG exhaust to the races. These races are 1/2 mile long and aside from racing anyone you want in a grudge match kind of way, you also get to measure your cars performance based on the trap speed at the end of the 1/2 mile. This is done for every race by laser guns and posted for everyone to see.

Good news is I had 8 races and never lost a single race! Bad news is I never got to race a few of the cars I wanted to, like the Aventador, and the McLaren. Just never had a chance to hook up.

My best trap speed was just over 165mph. I know for a fact that the McLaren and the Aventador's best trap was also just at 165. I saw them both race the day before.

Anyway, I raced two 997-2 modded Turbo S's. One of them has all kinds of stuff, including a brand new Y pipe that increased his time by 3 mph.. The other one is my buddies and he's running a different tune than me and exhaust. Beat him pretty easily. I also raced a Audi Rs7 which I think has 685 wheel HP.

Also raced a 600hp 2013 Viper that claimed to have beat a McLaren, and killed it by 8 car lengths.

Unfortunately the only video I have is the race against my Buddies monster e63 Mercedes. He was pretty convinced he was going to rule the roost, but guess what... By the way, this was from a roll. If we raced from a DIG it would have been pretty ugly. He's tuned with down pipes and exhaust and running 630WHP. I honestly can't believe how fast this sleeper is. Love you Eric! Great run and incredible beast!

Anyway, great day and lot's of fun. Hope you enjoy the video.

Great meeting you yesterday! Your car was surprising quite a few people (and as just a stage 1 no less).

I can assume you will be returning to run it in the future? We will make sure you're running stage 2 for the next event.

Not sure I should risk a lose at the next event. Maybe I'll just retire... LOL. I'll definitely be back Austin. Tell me about Stage 2???

Love my 458. Great choice. Yes, the e63 was Eric's and as always his cars are monsters.

Not sure. I manual detracted it to minimize drag, but it looks like it deploys at a certain speed regardless.

It's quite a bit more aggressive and makes a lot more power. What's to talk about? Let's load it in. Based on your results at the event with stage 1, stage 2 should put you into a higher caliber of cars to run with.
