Cargraphic vs GMG exhaust on 991 TT ... ?

I have a new TT car arriving in a couple weeks.

Presently, I have an '09 TT with Cargraphic exhaust and FVD tune. Nice combination IMO.

I've tho't about doing something similar with the new 991 TT ... but, was thinking about doing GMG exhaust and FVD tune.

Anyone with a 991 TT that can compare Cargraphic with the GMG exhaust sound? Difficult to hear exactly online for obvious reasons.

Appreciate your tho'ts and experience.

Did you see my car? Look at my sig line for my mods and then check the video and the Vbox data I posted. I have all FVD plus the IPD plenum.

Have you considered the Tubi Street system?

http://www.championmotorsport.com/pr...bi-991t-ex.htm

We spent a considerable amount of time creating a really nice balance between a nice aggressive tone, and really great driving characteristics inside the cabin, all while saving weight and adding about 18hp/20tq at the wheels on a totally stock car. The system uses high flow 200 cell HJS cats and carefully designed center muffler to deliver that balance. Do some searching, you'll find quite a few happy customers.

If memory serves, Cargraphic is a 67mm exhaust and might sound good, but won't be the strongest performer.

I believe GMG's system is 89mm piping and flows very well (also has HJS 200 cell catalysts).

If you're strictly looking for sound, that is a bit subjective and more likely based on your own personal preferences.

Can you please post a video if the Capristo exhaust is installed? Drive by would be great.

I don't have any drive-by videos yet, just ones where I am revving.

I suppose that hijacking the original question is OK here, but I still wonder about the original question regarding Cargraphic vs GMG.

I have done some searching, reading, and listening to many.

I find that Tubi (which I had on an M5 10 years ago and enjoyed) has a pitch that is higher than I appreciate. And, 'softer sound', less aggressive than some other systems.

I don't give a flip about Capristo ... in fact, I've never heard of this system. If you want one, please get one. And, please ... start your own thread.

Soooo .... back to the original question: Cargraphic vs GMG exhaust with 200 cell cats. I'm interested in the sound (objective, of course), cabin resonance, power increases, and anything else that may be of interest.

Anyone with either system I'd be interested in their experience.

TIA

Give the Tubi system a listen....I think you might be surprised at how deep and aggressive it sounds. Even the "street" system is quite aggressive. The "race" system is off the charts!

I've never heard the Cargraphic exhaust, but we have the GMG exhaust and headers on our 991 TTS. It sounds great, especially when you let off and it burbles. I can try and get some video this week if you'd like. It's an amazing sounding exhaust

Here you go! It's too cold to try launch control, but I'll get some vids of that at some point this week.
