Attached is a video of the 991 engine assembly. At 5:57 in the 6:30 video is a shot of the turbo engine next to the normally-aspirated engine.

I hope the 911 re-design incorporates a clam shell rear body panel to expose the entire engine bay! Audi does the front of its current R8 with such a body panel.

Thanks for finding and sharing. At the 4:50 - 5:00 mark, there appears to be a yellow handle dipstick next to the oil filter housing. Wonder what's up with that? Sure wish my car had a real dipstick!

 

I was surprised at the size of the motor as well. Wow ! Once it's housed in the car it disappears.
