Bags

My $.02 on the matter from an earlier post.

Not sure about the CarFit luggage, but we also take long trips in our car and pack as follows. (1) medium size (1 size larger than carry-on) suitcase in the frunk sitting on its side. We then drape a hanging bag over and around the suitcase. The leaves a little room on the side of the suitcase for assorted towels, can of glass cleaner and bottle of Quick Detail spray. Also in the frunk are my tools for CL wheel removal.

We usually pack "hard" items in the suitcase, such as shoes, toiletry bags, etc. We also carry (2) soft bags, such as Vera Bradley, with clothes and put them in the back seat. With soft cotton bags filled with clothes only, no danger of damaging the leather or trim. Works like a charm and plenty of room for a (2) week trip, assuming you can do laundry along the way. Briefcase (never really off at work...) and other small items on the floor behind the seats. Finally, a soft cooler, Polar Bear brand, filled with various "refreshments" to sustain ourselves along the way. Polar Bear coolers are the bomb. Only soft cooler I've ever used that will not leak or sweat. They're worth twice the asking price.

Hope this helps and travel safe! We're in the early stages of planning for a (2) week tour of Nova Scotia and maritimes region in May!

We used airline approved sized hard shells as carry ons for our trip- not sure of brands, but it's the size that matters to allow as a carry on. You can fold the rear seat backs down to form a shelf and these fit perfectly in back. The Trolly XL is nice, fits a lot of stuff and is a perfect fit in the frunk. You can still fit in shopping bags on top of it if needed, on Euro Delivery we stuffed a few bags there with purchased clothes.
