Holy cow!! 9.7 @ 141 mph! That is insanely fast.
What modifications are done to this car??? 141 mph trap speed for a car of this weight would mean that this car is making nearly 700hp at the wheels.

i have no idea thats not my car its a friend of a friends car, i was impressed with what it ran myself. he said its running full boltons, stock turbo, meth kit and a very aggressive tune via module.
my car traps 133mph but i am running stock tires and horrible 60ft 1.89 ran 10.50@133mph. car will run low 10s with a better 60ft. wanted to run yesterday but it rained out.

That would mean this car is trapping almost 10mph faster than the fastest FBO stock turbo 991 in the US.

Yeah it looks strange to me also
. The only explenation I can come up with is that the full exhaust +ipd +methanol and custom tune should be pushing 700hp/600whp+ and if champion got 9.8s so can the new 991 turbo with better launch and pdk .

These results from the Gulf states are just so dramatically faster than anything in the US with bolt ons. I would love to see a U.S. car installed with these mods to see what results it produces. I do not see how these results are possible with bolt ons and stock turbos but I hope I am wrong.
[QUOTE=porschecayenne92;4309385]The fastest Champion modified 991 turbo of which I am aware is Karl's which posted a 10.2 ET. Champion broke into the 9s with the 997 turbo but I believe those cars had the upgraded Champion intercoolers which are not yet out for the 991 Turbo. I also have read that the 997's turbos were a big larger.
Champion 997.2 was a PDK also and had rear drag radials with a 1.4 60-foot time so the launch was similar. The Champion car also did 110mph in the 1/8 mile mark. But the 1/4 mile traps are very different. Champion did 135.1 mph where this car did 141.5 mph. Hmmmm.
I don't remember the math but going from my drag racing experience a 6mph increase was HUGE.
I wonder what this car will do in the half mile?
