GT Project Director Andreas Preuninger Interview on GT4 in Christophorous

Porsche will let me customize my vehicle anyway I want except where I really want it. Give me a 991 Turbo or GT3 with a manual...no way. Preuninger says "shut up and drive it with a PDK".

Just when the smoke stopped coming out of my ears from the audacity of this statement and complete lack of customer focus. My Christosphorous Magazine comes in the mail with this interview.

The new GT4, Preuninger says "This car is our message to the circle of Porsche fans who are particularly dear to our hearts-the hobby racers...The GT4 says we heard you...for example the car comes with six-speed manual transmission only".

I am not a hobby racer but prefer a manual transmission just not in a GT4. Why can't I get one in a 991 turbo or a GT3? Color matched keys, color to order anything else my heart desires just not the transmission and engine combination.
