Since every post seems to be about a tune/exhaust I figured to post something different.

Here's my g-force meter after a few launch controls and a track day. Anyone beat it?

 

Mine won't do any higher than 1.25 in LC.

 

Try a launch control going downhill! LOL

Stock scrappy tires. I hate the pirellis. I'm hoping to track the craps out of them so I can justify getting some michelins.

I have the Cobb tune, but my g meter hasn't changed after the tune. Weird.

 

I would imagine g forces would be higher if trying launch control going uphill, right?

 

Never looked at it that way, but I'm sure there's a simple calculation that would reveal the truth! One thing for sure, a downhill launch would get a quicker 0-60! 😂

 

No track day on the meter, just my first launch with the car.

my TTS with GIAC Stage 2 maxed out at 1.25 in LC.


but I put down a 1.59 60' at the track.

that doesn't seem right.

 

I have a TT (not TTS) with Cobb and europipe. My max G-force was 1.3 prior to Cobb and hasn't increased since.

As per the Cobb accesport, I put down a 1.67 60" on the street with 0-60 at 2.54 secs.

 

Anyone sub-2.5 seconds 0-60?

 

My best launch with my 2014 TTS totally stock was 1.27. After I added the GIAC Stage 2 tune, my best launch was 1.25. After installing Cup 2 tires, I only have tried one launch and got a 1.29


The extra power of a tune actually makes your launch number worse due to traction issues. When I see guys posting a 1.37, I'm totally confused.

 

Are any of those numbers averages? One launch does not a trend make (better surface, warmer day, etc.).
