Smoking VBOX Data from the Middle East!!
Thank you. We cannot get 135 here in the US with a full weight TT with 528 wheel. We get about 130.
As you can see in the 991 Turbo forum here in the US, there is a lot of GIAC vs Cobb debate about which Is the most powerful. Based on the 1/4 mile timeslips the ES package FBO is much faster than GIAC or Cobb by a large margin. Are there any ES FBO stock turbo 991 or 997.2 Turbos in the US? If they are so much faster, one would think they would be selling a lot here in the states. I think that is why people want to see more vBox figures.
Anyway best of luck with your mods and I hope you can get 140 with stock turbos.

Well with 528whp on a mustang dyno it can see 135 traps... I did (vbox not strip) 134 with 506whp, will dyno with the IC's and 100oct to see how it goes

When you say mustang dyno, perhaps the calibration was very conservative. Because it can be calibrated however the dyno operator wants.
Same I always use 1/4 mile avg. and I always use same dyno (calibration)... That's why I metion the comparo of my .2TT (same dyno/calibration, same vbox, same street)... The 991 need less whp to do what the .2TT need to get there

528AWHP was on SAE is almost 540awhp+/- STD since US mostly measure STD.
i dont have stock turbos now, so if i do run 140+ its on upgraded turbos.
dont forget our track is also at sea level and is a very well prepped NHRA approved track.
Also when i ran 135MPH i was running on pure vp103.
note: stock turbo or turbo s run 10s @128-129 on good fuel adding almost 80+awhp with mods should get you trapping 135mph common sense thats only 6mph more than stock

Well, I can't answer your question but there are a lot more Turbo S runs in the 11's at under 130 here in the US both stock and modded.
There are some tracks that are known for reading a few MPH higher than other tracks and there are other tracks that get great track prep and can get negative density altitude (ATCO) but even there the fastest FBO Turbo S 997.2 or 991 can't crack 135.

well i really dont know what to say? i have raced in E town and atco and now my car is actually racing in orlando speedway. i dont think our track here is any different other than the fact that its very well prepped and at sea level.
i have vboxed my tubo on the street and almost ran identical numbers in the track. anyways what ill do next hopefully is during the next test ill have vbox on the car with go pro and compare with track times to clarify any doubts.

Yeap, so at the end COBB is the key factor here... I know for sure a 991 with IC's and bolt ons with cobb custom tune will break the 135+ traps.
A .2TT with same mods I doubt it. My .2 with COBB, IC's, IPD, Exhaust and Meth the best trap was 133mph

Both Rob and ES used Cobb
Are they datalog and send you maps for their hard parts or they completely create their own maps ?

i guess we will see soon
We are %110 behind our products, so if anyone is interested in working with us i would me more than happy to help them.
Before we release something, we test the products on my personal 991 TTS for a time period, check the results with vbox in different situations and be sure they are peforming consistently.
60ft was 1.35sec.
This season we had only 3 runs with new ecu tuning , 9.78, 9.595 and 9.590 @ 146mph
60ft was 1.44sec.
After using Cobb protuner editing software, it gave me opportunity to edit parameters which we didnt have access to with piggyback.
I think we can still improve the numbers as the datalogs are positive

On my 997.2 I was trapping multiple 133 and a couple 134s with COBB, ams intercoolers, ipd plenum, BBi catless exhaust, no meth, on actual pump gas. Stock headers, full weight. Consistent 10.3 ETs. I'm not so sure the 991s are THAT much faster other than the launch being better.
i guess we will see soon
