Happy with the rates.
I'll never use GEICO.

An insurance company that worked as hard as they did to save the LTI company and fund the development of LIDAR technology isn't a company I'm interested in funding myself.

My 996 Turbo is with Progressive, unlimited miles $1K deductable. I'm happy to pay $548/12 months, that's only $45.67 per month. I'm the only driver, no tickets, no accidents, stellar credit. I have another Porsche, a Lexus SUV and a new Subaru all with Esurance but they won't insure the Turbo. Their rates are really low too. I'm paying about 30% of what I paid 18 months ago and previously with State Farm that insured all 4 cars. They raised rates nearly 30% for no reason other than to increase profits I was told by my agent.

That's interesting. State Farm is a mutual insurance company, isn't it? If so, arbitrarily raising rates to just "increase profits" doesn't make much sense, unless I am missing something obvious.

Insurance must be seriously expensive where you are...I pay a bit more than that for 7 cars and trucks.

You are right, actually I recall my agent saying the rate increases resulted from increased costs. The increased profits I guess was my own cynical twist.

$1467 / year with State Farm.

I usually get 1 speeding ticket / year. Multi-car / homeowner discounts.

omegaSMP300 is infamous around these parts
Question for all. What did you have your insurance companies put down as the expected yearly mileage on your Porsche?

Bro, you are way overpaying. Look into State Farm or NJ Manufacturers. I have 4 cars on my insurance, including my turbo, and pay less than $3k for full coverage on anything (NJM)

I live in 07302, probably one of the worst places to insure cars... But I will make a call!

I would never drive with a 100k limit.

what happens if you cause an accident and God-forbid someone ends up dead and their family sues you for millions because you drive a 911 Turbo?

100k isn't going to go very far and you could be paying tons out of pocket.

I have a 500k limit plus a 2M umbrella.
