Cool we should really have a good time. Thats
about the track prep here. It's what I was afraid of. I've been a road race guy and when I DID go to the drags it was just to do burnouts and have fun. No PDK back then so low 11's were great! We will make the best of it. Porsche domination! I joked with pikes Peak to not bring their 2000 hp GTR. He said we will see LOL. I don't know what's in the trailer

For some reason my car runs better in warm weather. The 1/4 mile on that same run was 137 and the 60-130 was 6.4.
But none of that is as important as the launch. 9's are impossible unless a 1.4 60-foot is achieved That's the equivalent of 0-60 in 2.1-2.2 seconds...so not very easy.
Anyway my car is going under the knife when I get back from Famoso so I can be as powerful as you guys now. Gotta keep up with this insane kit you put together Sam!

Good stuff Long! I think we will achieve some great launches as Cobb via the AP has created a series of different launch control boost level maps. We are able via the Cobb AP to target launch pressure from below stock levels up to whatever power the track can handle. Really cutting edge and should make for some extraordinary results.
All my vBox data was buried on like the 4th or 5th page of my thread where I did the 6.4 60-130 at Shift Sector. It was the time IPD Mike put on my Y-pipe at the event and then my car just got crazy fast and then unfortunately started to fuel cut from the extra power. So yeah, the Y pipe is what caused my first round of "trouble" lol.
The vBox gives 2 different 1/4 mile speeds....there is a terminal speed and then another speed based on averaging equivalent of the NHRA 1/4 mile trap speed. So I did a 1/4 mile terminal of something like 137.8 and an averaging of 136.74. Rounded up for 137. Anyway I'm not going to hit 137 tomorrow. Maybe a few 135's again. The important numbers for me are the 60-foot and ET.

Wow that is amazing. Dialing down boost just for the launch should definitely help keep the wheel spin under control. That's the key tomorrow. All of us how the power to get into the 9's but whether we do or not depends entirely on our launch.
Safe drive everyone see you tomorrow!

Running really low tire pressure with rear Mickey Thompson ET streets and I will also drop the front tire pressure on the r888's as well. Never did that before. Low tire pressure helps with the launch but then causes a lot of drag so hurts trap speed. I don't care about trap speed tomorrow I just want the lowest ET I can get. 9's are pretty doubtful at Famoso on a stock turbo car but a 10.0X or even 10.1X would be fantastic.
Good luck to all you guys out there. Show those non-Pcars what's up!
Sorry to hear hope the little one feels better soon.
Well I have one thing to report. Our 997.2's don't like wheelies. lol. First launch on the MT' my neck snapped to the back of the seat and I saw the sky and then limp mode down the track and back to the pits. Car drives but makes some noise so having it towed back.

That's insane about the wheelie lol. Hope you at least got a video of that ****.
I'm sure its prob just a axle and really hope it's nothing serious. Looks like the drag radials really helped because I heard the track is a ****show

Unfortunately our warmer weather is supposed to be ending sometime next week.

Agreed though. The tracks out west seem to really suck unfortunately
Maybe I'm in the wrong business. I should go to cali, buy a track, and make it badass
