Not a believer in #doorsuppantiesdown? Lol

Seriously one of the things that I like the most about the turbo and Turbo S is the lack of attention I get when I'm out and about. I don't really like people coming up to me at stop lights or cutting me off on the highway to gawk. If I wanted that for the money I've sunk into my car I could've gotten a brand-new Huracan. Instead I delight in leaving those behind by bus lengths at every speed event

Will say though, as a weekend car, the Mclaren's really do look good. I was reading somewhere lease rates in the low $2k per month, which is turbo money

I've been kicking around the idea of picking up a 2016 650s Spider. A nicely equipped car will run over $4000 a month with a $10k drive off. I'm looking at a couple slightly used 2016's that may bring that down to $3500.

Sorry, i meant the 570S rates were in the low $2k range. I would imagine the 650S to be much more

Yeah, I like the 570s a lot, but the problem is that it's easy to option the 570s up to over $250k. Might as well go for the real deal, the 650s.

My thoughts exactly. I have been offered very lightly used ones for less than 250.

I tend to agree and even at 36 I am just not that cool to have vertical doors. The 911 flys under the radar much better.

I haven't seen any builds on the 570 at 250 but mist are atleast 220 by the time you get a few goodies and i tend to agree why not just got for a used 650 at that point.

Another issue is go drive a Mclaren with 15k on the clock...the headliner rattles and the car just feels worn. I drove a 12 MPC with 16k on the clock the same day and it felt beat up compared to a 911 w similar miles.

Yes I don't think you can build one to 250k. The base is 184900 and most of the ones I have seen are circa 210k to 218k properly optioned. This one is 215720 msrp with:

lift, polished calipers, forged wheels in diamond cut, McLaren Design Interior, Carbon fiber pack (diffuser, skirts, blades), Lux Pack (Bowers and Wilkins audio, electric steering column, electric and heated seats, soft close doors), exterior special paint, and destination charges.

I wish someday our govertment change the ridiculous 40% state taxes for all car with $50k or more MSRP... A 991 Turbo with $185k MSRP is around $260k after taxes

the headlight proportions are really odd and the rear tail light placement needs to be wider apart. it makes the back of the car look more narrow than it should.

I'd prefer the Lambo, it just "looks" cooler....
