Straight pipes?? You're brave!! lol

We just installed a straight-through system with no cats and no muffler on a 991 TTS today and it was obnoxiously loud! Sounded mean as hell...but so loud haha

 

Straight pipe is not too bad.... Ironically I drive in normal mode with light load on the freeway here and it sounds very similar to a few of the other guys exhaust on the market i've heard.
In sport plus, all systems primed with launch spooled sounds like a chained beast.

 

It's awesome for track time!

Great info on the upgraded turbo's. When you run the half mile, I hope you hit over 172!!!!! I'm currently running 172 with my 991 Turbo S and 177.5 with my 918. My quarter mile time with the turbo s
is 10.10 @138 and look forward to working with you to squeeze out a little more...

Hey Jeff ive heard a lot of great things are coming from your end and look forward to the insight. Truly one of the platforms first pioneers. Yes im pretty confident on the 172+++. Im also confident Cobb owns the formula as we pulled back quite a bit from where we could be and still ended up with a conservative 665 whp and softened and carried the torque. The 918 is stock. The turbo S has tubi catless exaust, IPD Plenum, Y-Pipe, cold air intake, Fvd headers, 70 shot nitrous, meth, techart lowing springs, techart forged wheels and I'm running trofaeo R tires. 690+ hp and 689 rwt.

 

And a Cobb tune!
