By Design/ Cobb Stage IV- It Just Keeps Getting Better!!
I am extremely excited to see new gains with my By Design Cobb Stage IV set up. Getting ready for race season and I decided to make a few strategic tweaks. One of which was to try a set of straight pipes in preparation for Shift Sector? Gave Sam a call and Wow Wow Wow!! Unleashed- Power comes on brutally fast. Sounds Formula 1 - race ready and picked up a good amount of power.
Sam and and Cobb have exceeded my expectations and conservatively dialed my 991TT in. We dynod 665 WHP with my little Tial HTZ 65's in stock housings.
So cool to see the real world character of a properly tuned 991TT platform here in the U.S. Sam and Cobb continue to move the bar, break ground and innovate.
I am thoroughly impressed as my TT is Super smooth, drivability is oem like and power delivery is the best and most brutal ever.

Sounds mean Nigel congrats 665 at the wheels your cars gonna haul *** at shift sector, 173-174 ish my guess. Can't wait to see it.
Thanks everyone! We are testing a few configurations determining what best works. The straight pipes sound fierce and are good for 20 whp along with a nice weight savings. However as someone mentioned is race mode only. Takes an hour to go back to my beautifuly capable Kline exhaust.
Mark we'll see... I'd be content to trap 170. Never done before on this platform that im aware of. Mainly plan to go out and have a blast my friend.
Hey bud. Great post and thank you again! Felix and Christian at Kline came through again for just something with that extra "we are going racing" feeling! Special thanks to Cobb, Mitch and Jon for the Dyno time and support keep pushing things ahead as usual. I'm really happy with the car and this frequency of power in my opinion is just perfect. There are no worries about you running this set up in a quarter-mile half-mile or even 1 mile. Then driving it home around town or wherever you want with a street beast exhaust. Really looking forward to shift sector and having fun enjoying all the hard work. Your support, dedication and enthusiasm is really appreciated. If we stopped now we would get bored!

I think you trapped 137 or 138 in the 1/4 which was at least 3mph more than me, the larger turbos are going to breath better on top so by the 1/2 mile your gonna be moving out, I dont think Ive seen anybody with a higher trap than our 164's
True 918 level performance at the half-mile is a respectable goal in my opinion. That will make my day!
Yes nice to have a respectable 918 file on the Cobb AP.
We trapped 138 at the last Redlist event. However really only considered it a test and tune. Ecp Chris was able to trap the same 138 MPH and broke into the 9's straight out of a fesh build. Impressive but for him im sure just test and tune.
I know Sam will be one of the first with the new larger Zona covers along with HTZ 68's with larger covers. At this point both are simply renderings and have not hit the street.
Sam and Cobb are creating performance opportunities that never existed before. Fun times!!
