1/2 Mile Wolrd Record!!!
Enrique, Again congratulations and hope we can get together and run the cars. I really enjoy all the like minded people and everyone has their ways to get to the top. Great job to everyone involved to get to 173! Enjoy it as its a blast! I guess i will have to add some more juice to match you...(; Did you have a quarter mile time during that run by chance.

Congratulations....that's a SOLID run! How much power is your car making now at the wheels?
I'm curious...what fuel did he use in the GT2? Did he use race fuel and switch to the race mode? I expected a bit more...unless it was spinning the tires...

) The car have more in it for sure... But I don't know if it pass 170 will see, I ask him to race but after my races he ask for a "raincheck"
Hey Tom, thanks... He was on race fuel but he spin the tires 1st and 2nd, his changing tires and will put more time driving it because he is not use to drive "short shifter" like that one lol (he do not power shift in the runs, but never miss one either, he is a good driver
)

If he's still using the Pilot Super Sport tires, it's probably spinning in 3rd and 4th gear too. If you watch the dashboard you'll see the light flashing lol.
Like I mentioned in Scott's thread you have upgraded turbos you should hit 170+ in the half mile why the f would I question that? I simply asked for a vBox run. You also mentioned "certified" what is that? I help with the timing equipment at shift sector sometimes so I was curious. Please tell me more about your certification process.
The only one who questioned mph in this thread was my brother Anthony on the A12. From your history with these events and runs before you always had a vBox and posted your info. Why not now?
I appreciate the concern for my sleep. lol

Been doing 1/2 miles events since 2011, since then I always certified that the distance and slope are on point
We use Race America equipment (like shift factor) is certified when a surveyor certified the distance and slope of the run, like you know this equipment can be installed in whatever distance that you want and then say is a "1/2 mile run"

As long as there is nothing wrong with the placement of the timers, your trap speeds and times should be more reliable than vbox for sure. That is really a nice looking runway you were using for your event.
Hey Adam. Been chatting with Anthony a lot because he has been getting the 991 itch. We talked about it. He thought that was a standard issue A12 but as Mitch mentioned it's not. There were hardware changes including Turbochargers and Omar tuned on it. For comparison guy, the stage 2 cars out there seemed to be on point with average or slower mph. We can get a nice comparison at Shift Sector for sure though soon enough. And with the stage 1 fuel upgrade and upped turbo's we have some room to go as well! Who knows!
I'm getting the itch pretty bad too after spending so much time in the 991 forum. You guys are killing it. Tried cream but it didn't help. I think a 991.2 might just be what the doctor ordered
