1/2 Mile Wolrd Record!!!
I'm in the stock class with the 997.2 - the main goal is just to log and verify the performance of the upgraded fuel system. Probably test it out at around 600 wheel. My guess is a mid-160s trap for a PDK car @ 600. I'm leaving the drag radials at home too. Street tires only for now on.
I wouldn't worry too much about leaving the drag radials on if you are only running 600whp. It took over 650 for you to finally break an axle and not only that but the airstrip isn't prepped like the drag strip so it will be even less stress on the drivetrain. If that 918 is there, would be an epic race in stock class.
Why hold it back, let that thing eat!! Seems like the system was already tested and proven so I would go ***** out and take no prisoners. You would have a solid chance at winning your class at that point. Also, are you capable and planning on running e85 at the event? That ought to be interesting if so.

Well, I don't have upgraded turbos but I'm going to try my best with bolt ons + meth, $2 per gallon gas, and street tires.
That's now, if you decide to go with what is prove that works on the 991 then the days of looking where to find more whp on stock turbos will be over, this plattaform is way more mod friendly than the .2 trust me
I guess you will be running e85 then
That's definitely one of the goals. Would be more like e40. No more power than MS109 but would eliminate the need for expensive race gas.
Sam, I think the red 991 turbo s will hit a quarter mile track next weekend. I'm confidant we will be in the 9's the way we sit now but will push the envelope on RWT and HP. Stock turbo's and intercoolers...more to follow!
