Thanks for the kind words Mark. Lucky to love what I do and the team I have behind me! Mitch...not so much. Jon and Joe are pretty worthless too! Hope to continue putting a smile on your face as big as mine as we go forward. Loved your enjoyment out there. I have plans for you sir! 180mph plans. There I said it! Last time we shot for the 918, Veyron and 900+ HP McLaren and look what happened from Nigel and those wee little 65's!
Best part though...We are gonna have some more good times in Cali now. Up to 7 Stage 4's just out here so far and we all can have some fun! You are a competitive and hard core racer bud! I promise we will do our best to get you there. Can't wait!
So is this a new personal record or the same? Or is the difference the 20 mph headwind at this event?
Scott Racers were supposed to get the time slips emailed to them, I never got mine until late Sunday so after my runs I would stop by the both and check my times. I ran a 164.35 and I had a Vbox with a full SD card and it read 166.7 on that run. My next run when I was done Vbox read 167.8 and the timer said a ran a 165 it was near the end of the day so I was done and figured I beat my old record.
When I finally got my times sent to me the next day after my 164.35 run it said I ran a 145.00 so the timing was screwed up I know I went faster there were 2 guys hand writing the times for each lane and they told me I did 165 my box showed a higher time as well. But the highest slip I have in my hand is a 164.47 which is 2mph faster than in February and exactly the same as back in October crazy right. Anyways the conditions were great in October with no winds at all. So yes we were all down a couple miles an hour which is why I posted the short video of the wind

Yes I couldn't believe the speed was the exact same speed as October but clearly the conditions were much less favorable this time around so you would've been several miles per hour higher it sounds like.
Nice Mark! That wind is blowing pretty strong. Are there any other 991s there?
What was your speed btw?
Chris there were quite a few 991's there were 2 stage 4's that I knew of and 2 giac's tuned cars 1 was full bolt on stage 2+ and Arnie's car who is a stage 2 he always runs well and a 2 more I think as well as quite a few 997's

Constantly determining the best means to get faster. You'll be surprised at how shocked your competition becomes as you perform at these events. Making the impossible times and speeds look easy. It truly gets better and having your beast out there on the front lines doing battle makes team winning that much sweeter!
Your car will be a 175+ MPH killer very soon. Then the question is not whether you'll win or lose but who has the courage to line up against you and take a staggering loss!
The 991.1 TT cars will reign for a very long time.... Mark my words!
Thanks Nigel cant wait West coast domination right here. I just hope I can run as well as you have been. I was shocked when I raced you last time your car just left mine standing still. Ya in February it was funny how after about half the day all the exotics would not line up next to the 991's
Thanks for trusting in us and I cannot believe how fast your car went. To this day I don't think I have seen a stronger stock turbo car. Couldn't do it without our team supporting the platform. Jon is the man and so is a Joe we wouldn't be what we are without them. Lots more to come in can't wait. If you need anything day or night please let me know.
Cheers on a great weekend my friend.
-Mitch
Mitch I want to thank you again for yours and Cobbs support. With no dyno time and very limited pulls you guys put together an awesome tune for my car. I didnt even get a chance to try the second tune yet. I have a feeling we will try it out very soon. Thanks again for the customer support which by the way was second to none.
Happy to have you onboard Mark! Your car has always been a beast. If you need anything you know we will always be there for you!
Sam does an awesome job, you will not be let down!
The only thing that outshines Mitch's passion for this platform is his talent and it really shows in the products COBB puts out as well as customer's praise once they make the switch.
Thanks again Mark! Excited to see what the future holds for your car!
-Jon
Thank you Jon As I told Mitch customer support second to none. Sam was with me the whole way by email or phone night or day as was Cobb. I too am excited I know great things are coming.

Haha yes it gets lonely having to run solo. Oh well🏁
You will be as fast or faster and Im totally thrilled by it.

thanks again Sam for all your hard work and support day or night. I have never seen customer support like this and I know you love what you do which is why you do it. I'm like a kid in a candy store can't wait to get the Stage 4 installed and throw down some really fast times. I love the sound of 180mph in the half lets do it for the next goal, as well as seeing 1 particular big turbo Mclarean way back in the rear view lol. Big turbo Mc +1 tiny turbo tts 0 lets change that score

Good stuff Mark. Those headwinds can wreak havoc on speeds, which is kind of a bummer, but looks like a strong showing nonetheless.
Obviously sad to see you go, but glad to have made a friend, and happy to see you're in good hands! Now get those turbos on the car!!
Ive never seen it that windy at shift sector before, Thanks Tom I was happy with you and Champion and Giac I just wanted more and thankfully Sam and Mitch have been awesome to work with so its a win win situation. Turbos are in and will be on shortly
