Awesome!!

I assume full weight and stock rubber. Nice run.

Tom@Champion 05-11-2016 08:41 AM

I was just about to post this vid...lol :)

Car was on stock rubber, full weight, with just our standard GIAC tune and Tubi Race exhaust. 60' was killer for stock rubber IMO! Overall not a bad result at all, especially considering the weather conditions here in FL are slowly becoming really unfavorable as we get into the summer months.

UPDATE: Same car, just a few days later. :)

Only mods are GIAC software and Tubi Race exhaust. Full weight.

Stock 20" Pirelli

He's a new customer for us, but apparently he's got some skills at the strip! Can't wait to get him up to Stage 2+ and see what he can bring home. ;)

Record stock rubber run! Good luck!

It's actually been sort of good lately, because it's been HOT (90's) during the day, but cools down to high 70's/low 80's at night. So the track retains some good heat.

Agreed for traction that's great. But it would cause higher DA and hurt the trap...which seemed to be pretty strong!

This car is still on stock intercoolers too. I can't wait to see what he can do when we uncork it a little bit with the 2+ package.

SamboTT@ByDesign 05-12-2016 01:42 PM

What a great track and temp situation. I'm now putting it together now, I think I Adibaz was there cutting 1.55 on Pirellis also!

Stage7 05-12-2016 01:58 PM

Wow! Awesome result. Congrats! I wonder what the .2 will have in it with optimal weather and traction.

Great results and congrats!
I was there also last night...very impressive for tune and exhaust only...Steve is a heck of a driver. I only did one run before my hose pulled off and managed 1.55 60' on the crappy P Zeros.
Can't wait to go back there again to see if i can break into the 9's...
