It might be just a worry with no issue here but I recently had to have a minor cosmetic repair done on my car and they removed the rear wing/spoiler.
For some reason I was under the impression that (while sitting still, under warm-up in my garage) car running, if I engage Sport + both wings should deploy? or is this only while vehicle is moving? I am trying to avoid a trip to the dealer or anywhere until the paint is fully cured and have the vehicle fully wrapped with XPEL (Lesson Learned).
Could someone shed some light on this for me please? Do I have a possible programming issue or an issue here or not?

Berli's sent two guys to remove the wing and put it back on to make sure the install was done properly and nothing changed. The wis both deploy fully and retract when you push the button.

When sport + is turned on stationary, the rear spoiler will deploy & the front bladder fin will distend.

I switched sport + on many times while the car was sitting in this way when washing the car.

Also went out with my local service advisor on a drive to observe how the spoiler changes degrees of height for different speeds, which was changes aerodynamics/feel of the car.

 

I just went out checked on my car.

The spoilers did not deploy under these conditions.

That's what's happening with me. I think however it used to it and now it is not I had the car at the shop for a week... I maybe confused... I did not drive the car a whole prior to that.

 

On my 2016, if I pressed sport + right after startup the wing and lip would not extend until I was moving forward about 10mph or so. That was consistent. I wonder if it was a safety feature so you didn't destroy the front lip pulling out of your driveway...

 

Sport + will only activate the spoilers when you start driving, I forget at which speed they start deploying. Otherwise you have to hit and hold the "spoiler button"

I agree with Stage7, when the vehicle is in motion around 9-10mph both the front and rear spoilers with extend and retract, unless you hold down the button and manually force it to do so. I have a 2016 TT

 

exactly, hold down button and spoilers extend, even when the car is not running,and it does not matter what sport setting your in.

 

Does it matter if the car is a 2015 or a 2016? there shouldn't be any PCM changes as far as I know.
