Yeah that's a good question. The answer is no. The Bel/Escort is unique in having that feature and it is patented so no one else has it. It is a good feature.

However Antilaser has two options for locking out false:
1) Press the suppress button on the touchscreen display or smartphone
2) Put it in sweep mode where it automatically locks out all K band alerts.

I have used option 2 since in my area since the police rarely if ever use K band. Also if while doing a sweep you notice a policeman using K band it is easy to unblock it either by pressing unsuppress button or by finding it on the map and removing it (you can edit blocked out alerts on a map).

Personally while I would prefer if Antilaser did have the Bel version of Autofilter, I still prefer this one because of the fact that it filters BSM/ACC. With the Bel you would still have that issue so it''s always going to be noisier.

Thanks. I guess on balance, not listening to a K-band alert for 20 minutes while an Acura is sitting two cars ahead during a traffic jam is worth having to lock out those traffic/speed reading signs. Installer is coming on Wednesday.

I have the exact same system but have yet to install. Was wondering how did you guys get the front/rear head unit wires into car?

No idea. I paid a local custom shop to do my install. I'm not that technical.

My understanding though is that there is a conduit through the firewall already and they used that.

What was the cost on this? I noticed the bumble bee 458 I was looking at yesterday had one built in. I asked the salesman if it had laser shifter and he didn't know. In retrospect I should have looked around the car to see. That system looks awesome if he has front and back radar detectors. Just another point in favor of the yellow and black spider as well as having a front bra.

One laser head front and one rear doesn't sound like it will cover the car. I run 3 on front and 2 on rear. So does Nanook.
