The most impressive thing in my eyes about this video is how damn good the Turbo S launches. It kept out launching the GTR.

 

Yeah he sent them to me. 100 octane map with race fuel. No meth. Going to do some logging and dial it in for a rematch. He's running base files. I'm using the GTR as the benchmark. With methanol we take out alpha nine's. By about the same amount it's pulling on him. So maybe with some tuning those cars will be right there with each other and that would be cool!

 

Unfortunately Alpha's keep climbing to heights 991s simply can't reach

 

Oh yeah those cars are up to 2000hp and 7sec 1/4 miles. Pretty impressive stuff! The 991's mod to mod are quicker though which is cool.

 

I'd much rather have a working and reliable 750whp 991 TS than a broken pos 2000whp GTR. Take it from someone who's been there done that.

Hey Thunder, I'll send you a quick pm but anyone feel free to call me anytime. We are getting very high 600s to the wheels without the methanol and we stop at 750 with it. As many know if you cars are getting the PDK upgrade currently and we will drink them.

 

it's really a natural progression. once you see these cars start to dip below 100k the people willing to really mod them will start to come out of the woodwork and they will start taking off mod wise. These cars really strike me as a better, more refined GT-R with the bonus of the engine over the rear tires.
