Speed Withdrawals

While I am patiently waiting for my Speed Fix from my TTS, I just purchased a set of Weld racing wheels and Hoosiers for my 2016 Camaro along with a Procharger to give it that little extra push. I should have ordered it earlier so I coulda put it on for the Red List oh well been busy. The box stock Camaro ran 140-141 all day long at the last shift sector, will see what an extra 150-160hp to the wheels will get.

Nice pick up on the wheels Mark, I'm curious what it will translate to performance wise. Can't wait to see what your 991 does fully sorted.

Congrats Mark! Does the Procharger kit utilize an air to air intercooler?

I hear those take some sorting and run the best with upgraded cooling and a custom tune. Look forward to seeing what it can do!

I can't answer for him but most likely it is the same as the intercooled ECS kit on my C7 vette. They are a large air to air intercooler and mine lays flat in the front of the car to not block the radiator. It's a great set up. With just 8lbs and longtubes/meth my car makes 620rwhp (around 710 crank horsepower) and has plenty left if you pullie down and retune. The kit is capable of 15lbs but I would do forged pistons before I did that. Everything else in the LT1 motor is forged and up to the job.

PS - Longboarder I love your videos and how much you contribute to the board. Very cool poster!

Adam yes I'm doing the stage 2 air to air which is the largest one they have, along with a custom tune. The standard kit puts out roughly 7psi and super Chevy installed it in a Camaro with the canned tune and it put out 550whp on 91 pump. So there is a lot of room to improve upon those numbers with custom tune, more boost, better fuel, exhaust etc.
