The run finally went down!! Good race man! That is shifting and that is how to show a dual clutch how its done!...J/K ..seriously good job as your Viper must move out hard to pull a Stg 4 on race fuel!!


Dead even = when they let off they are side by side. He was 1/2 car ahead and pulling. If he jammed another gear the way he was pulling maybe another car+.

Mark , this 991 has no meth, the car is very dialed in. Keeps getting faster every time we run. He was trapping 136 before the last couple of tunes . He has more boost now than when he did d 136 in the 1/4. Car moves out!

 

THIS IS THE 991 on my video . Here he is racing my friends Heads and Cam ACRE Viper. Porsche on PUMP GAS TUNE, and couple psi less.

 

Glad the 991 driver finally figured out how to roll launch a car with lag.

 

Nice run guys. We are dialing Richard in. With his wheels we will so on be able to overcome the PDK issue too. Maybe it's a FL thing Boosted! Lots of data to go over but we have a good idea why a small handful of stronger cars fo this. Stay tuned! More fun re-matched to look forward to.

Viper is fast..adding go juice to the TTS/tune and it's over..but take the ground effects/wing off Viper and it would be another interesting run

 

Sambo, my car is a GTS, the ACRE is friend of mine with a different heads and cam set up, a 1 car slower than mine from a roll. Mine has no AERO.
Although from a 40 mph roll, he hooks and pulls Richard.


Congrats on Richard, he is flying! I'm tapped out, 20 more HP on his car and is game over for me.


You guys are going to make me put Nitrous on it, lol.


We had A bolt on Calvo Twin turbo Viper out there, and that thing is wicked fast!!, killed a 160 mph 1/4 mile EVo like it was standing still.

this is me , doing a practice hit to tune my shifting, who needs a PDK??

 

Haha pretty sick shifting. These are completely different cars built and upgraded in a completely different way. It's pretty cool to be able to have fun and see them so close. If we could have tuned Richards car on the dyno it would be done in one shot. It will be very interesting if you guys are neck and neck once both fully dialed him. How much power do your carpet down to the wheels?

 

I'm at 694 SAE, 657 Tq. SAE. STD corrected was 711/667
I'm dialed in on motor, and got no more. Any more power out of his, and he has me covered.

 

I was just saying to myself when I first watched this, if the 991 adds more hp, the Viper being all motor is going to add nitrous!!


Don't take the easy way out with nitrous, put a charger and run low boost with your N/A set up!






How I would LOVE to shift like that in my manual 911, then I can stop flirting with a 991 in my mind!
