Has anyone moved from a 991.1 turbo S to a 991.2 turbo non-S?

I am about to buy a car and really struggling between getting a 2015 turbo S or a 2017 turbo. I’m seeing them hover around high 140s for nice CPO examples. Car is mainly a daily driver but will do a couple track weekends a year. I know most people that track the car replace PCCB with regular brakes so PCCB is actually a negative in my case. If I get the 991.1, I will replace the head unit since navigation is a pain on the 991.1. Appreciate any feedback! Some questions-
—can you tell any difference in power?
-must have options on non-s are 18 way seats and pccc, any others?
-for those getting the non-s, any regrets?

Thanks.

The .1 turbo S and the .2 turbo has the same turbochargers as opposed to .2 turbo S with bigger ones. With that said, one can conclude .1 S is similar to .2 non S.
I doubt you can tell the difference (power wise) between .1 S to .2 non S.
I would defiantly go for .2. Sharper look and improved everything. And, a rarer car (compared to .1 turbo and turbo S in general and compare to .2 turbo S in particular), who knows, maybe the "non S turbo" will be the next thing to look for

Must have option ? I would say center lock wheels and PASM.
Good luck

turbo_ssdd is an unknown quantity at this point
my 991.2 Turbo is as fast as my old 991.1 Turbo S ( 60-130 )

I don't miss anything from the S. I like the design upgrade on the taillights, bumper , etc..

I have a 991.2 Turbo that I ordered. It also has the dynamic boost functionality, PDK upgrades, and PASM retuning. Zeperfs.com has performance comparisons for tons of vehicles and if you compare them, they are basically identical performance.
I ordered mine with Burmester and PDCC but skipped CL wheels and PCCB. No regrets!

No one coming out to make a case for the 991.1 TTS....sound like the 991.2 TT is the way to go. Also I checked the stats and 991.1 TTS va 991.2 TT seem pretty much identical. (TTS is 0.1 second faster to 60).
Will keep you posted and thanks!

There are a lot more things about the 991.2 though - the motor has potential to make considerably more power and you can use e85 with it, if you have it available. The chassis is revised, the car makes a nicer sound inside. PCCB are revised, the PDK has a revision which makes it stronger. There's quite a few updates that the 991.2 got which aren't all that big in and of themselves but as a whole, the car is an upgrade.

i didn’t know about the E-85 capability?
One thing about the sound inside the car- the induction sound of the 3.8 is very much like my GTS NA was from the inside. Outside though is another matter altogether.
At times my 991.2 TT seems louder inside than my GTS was.
