anyone run a 991.2 COBB VS GIAC stage 2 tune

anyone run a 991.2 COBB VS GIAC stage 2 tune

with only full exhast and tune and if so what was the outcome?

You are shopping around, both are really good from very respected companies!!! You will get different opinions here depending on the setup the car has, just like if you were asking about one exhaust vs another...

My friend has a 991.2 TTS with GIAC stage 3 - not quite apples to apples as you're looking for a stage 2 comparison. In any case, it's noticeably stronger than my 991.2 TTS that is stock, seems a bit smoother even in power delivery. I've not had a chance to drive the Cobb yet.

stage 3 means he has the ipd plenum y pipe & intercoolers ?

Yes, it's not that much more labor to do stage 3 from stage 2 - the intercoolers and plenum really help with heat, which is a limiting factor on our cars.

GIAC is very strong and extremely reliable. Likely the only tuner on the cobb to improve upon that is Emre from ES Motors. The guy is a tuning god. Best of the best in the 3.8DI platform.
