Issue with Porsche maintenance plan.

So i took my 991.2 Turbo S into the dealer that i bought the car from to fix the keyless entry. They told me that i missed my 20K service which was included in the maintenance plan when i purchased the car. My car has 14K so why would i take it in for the 20K service? Apparently it's also by date which was December and obviously past due and they said they now can't do the service at no charge. Anyone else have this issue?

Check your service contract, what I found and read online said nothing about missing a service which would void the service contract.

I had a similar issue with my Jaguar F Type SVR. Apparently, there is a 30 day window in which service must be completed. Otherwise, you have to pay. Funny how no one mentions service window when you buy the car. Good luck.

Not with my Porsche, I do not get their service plan, but my Jag, they said I missed my 20k service, I said I told you about that and you said "don't worry you only have 7k miles" , that was last year, and now I missed it? They did do it, seems to go by time and mileage, or whatever works out to the DEALERSHIP'S ADVANTAGE

So, my faith has been restored. I oddly enough received a letter form the service manager last week about coming in to get my 20K service. I thought it was some type of joke after being denied. I explained the situation i was in and how irritated i was and she said she would talk to the field rep. Next day she called and said they would "make an exception" and to bring the car in.

Services have always been distance and time based. If you miss the time based service (haven't done the miles) then you need to pay. I don't see anything unreasonable with that
