New to the P-Car Club

Hey guys,

Picked up my ‘19 991.2 TTS in November 2019. Barely got over 1k so far. Can’t wait to let her loose after engine break-in period.

Thanks! Still in the engine break-in period, but after that, I’m letting her loose! Oh, and, yes, more power is in the future. 😁

I had an i8. Wanted to drive a car with butterfly doors before I got arthritic. The i8 is a ***** to get in and out of. It’s drove great. Had grunt off the line due to the electric motor. Did surprisingly well even on the track because of its low center of gravity and carbon fiber tub. But it lacks high end speed. Exhaust note is great in the cabin even though it’s synthesized and pumped through the speakers.

I also have a 2017 Civic Type-R. This thing is a go-cart. Great around the bends and on the track, but does lack straight line speed. It loves to rev and can use all the power it has, even on the road.

TTS is a whole different beast compared to an i8. The handling is great. Even better than the Type-R. Takes corners like a champ and so stable. I haven’t gunned it yet, but I can see how it will be hard to use all the 580 ponies on the streets. Even under 4K rpm I’m doing close to 100mph in just few seconds. The TTS is also smaller than the i8 in length, so it feels more nimble. The PDK is unbelievably fast. Can’t wait to try out the launch control. 😁

Thanks!

Not a special spec. When I was getting the car FFP’ed, tinted, and ceramic coated, I thought I put a little bit of flare on the car by adding the exclusive series style racing strips on it with CF PPF. Also covered the wing and the air catcher.
