Hi,

Two different animals, what are you looking for, raw speed, looks or just comfort?

Generally a turbo/S is Superior to any 911 (excluding the gt2RS) in the line, even if it's from a newer generation. Given cars with identical sate (unlikely with older cars) i would take any turbo over any 911 because this is the special one, the one that gives you extra, also in market value wise. Problem is it's unlikely to find a like new 997 turbo + the 997 generation is becoming the one less people want, mostly due to its wired and too high shaped rear. I would suggest trying to find a 991 with that something extra like a special edition (50 year), if it's too expensive go topless (cabriolet).

I am 70/30 on the turbo. What to look for beside the service records and the PPI?
