Emergency PDK release

My 2017 991.2 Turbo S Randomly switched off while updating a tune which of course isn’t good. The car won’t turn over at all. Totally dead. I can’t get it to a shop till after the holiday but for now I need to be able to get the car back into the garage but cannot get it I out of gear. Is there a way to release the PDK into neutral without the car being on. Turning the key to accessory on will still not allow that.

Dumb question, but would pulling both paddle shifters toward you at the same time produce the neutral transmission state you're looking for? It works while driving...just wondering if it would work while stopped?

I see you're a Sam customer (me too!) - he would be the best resource on this....

I figured it out. had to lift up the switches behind the shifter, then the plate under the shifter and there is a manual release button. Thanks guys.
