Help on color combination choice?

Hey guys

I had placed an order for the 991 already so it is time to think about the color combination.

just want everyone's thoughts on color choice....

I had a great looking black car, but NEVER EVER again. It is impossible to keep clean. Not big on red, silver, and the lime gold. I would consider white, the blue from the German catalogue, or one of those new grays.

I’ve been to the showroom recently; the 997 left in my local dealer are GTS and cabriolet are both white with black leather interior and look stunning. However, since earlier 90” all the cars I own are black interior, I preferred to make some change this time. I am nor sure about the white with beige since not seeing much of this combination. The blue from the German catalogue with beige interior looks also beauty, is it dark blue or aqua blue? Although the beige interior looks more elegance, it will looks like 20 years old after just 2 years of use concern me.

My question is................. what color combination of exterior and interior is the right choice.....

not that I want my to car to stand out like a sore thumb, but you want it to have the presence it deserves and the price that it is.,....

so what is everyones thoughts on this?

When I looked through the German Catalog, I saw an interior that looked really interesting: Agate & Flint Gray (achatgrau und kieselgrau). Basically it was white leather seats (and other items) with a Dark Gray interior.

It doesn't seem as though the german links to the catalog are working anymore, otherwise I'd copy the image for you.

I just found another link that has the german catalog, but no pictures of the actual interior combo, just the color palette at the end of the book (pg 106):

gray and silver colors work best with the dirt.

here is one in agate gray

GT silver is my favourite silver (the perfect match with black or gray wheels):

I was never a big fan of silver but there's this one silver 991 promo shot that really turns me on. My lexus daily driver is silver and its awesome for wear/tear because it hides scratches/dirt really well. Silver is also good for resale since its common. Having said that, I love my black C2s but super hard to keep clean. Good luck all the colors you listed will look good cause the 991 is hot!

I like the Agate Gray. Not sure of the interior color options, but anything that looks like Cocoa would be very nice. That color goes with just about any exterior color IMO. Congrats on getting a 991.

thanks all you guys reply

Dark Blue seems to be on the top of my list at this moment.

Since everybody love Black leather interior, how about carrara white/black interior with red seat belts plus trim strip panel, PCM board, door finishers painted with white

dark blue does not seem any easier to take care then black..

I would go with the white or the dark Grey exterior and black interior..
tan interior picks up to much dirt.
if you plan to sell it in a few years white will be easier to unload..
