991 wheel lineup...

I went to go build a 991 Carrera S and was quite disappointed with the wheel selection. I saw some pics of a 991 with what looked like he GTS wheels but in 20", will those be available for the 991S.

Go @f T3r m@r k3T... Porsches only sure-fire/can't-beat/can't-top wheel was the Fuchs (and maybe the Speedlines); they've been disappointing me every since.

I just tried the build via the Porsche website... my 1st choice would the the Tequipment (Fuch) wheels... 2nd choice would be the 20" Turbo II wheels. I wish the Fuch remakes were deeper dish in the rears though. Deep dish wheels make Porsches look reaLLy aggressive.

i am sure if there is a demand they will make it. I also like Fuch wheels. I think they are a good balance between yesterday and today. :-)

There will be plenty of after market wheels too. One of the easiest mods.

I agree. 997 wheel choices are much more attractive.

Don't want to spend 100k on a car and then have to go aftermarket...I love the wheel selection of the 997.1 and .2 cars.

So far the 991 selection leaves me wanting.

You're right Dave, of course. Nor do you NOT purchase a 911 because of the wheel choices, however. The wheel choices won't be a big factor on the success or failure of the 991. I think some (a minority really) are starting to look for issues, even small ones, to justify the overall negative feelings they might have on the 991. I like what I see so far and I'll wait to see and drive it before I decide.

Cheers. Great to see you still visiting the board!

I really like this wheel from the Frankfurt Auto show!

But, I don't see this Tech Equip wheel available in the USA. Beauty! Little dissapointed with the wheel selection too. But they will do for my tastes.

who is gonna be the first one to sport 21s or 22s is the question. I love big wheels but 20s is where it must stop for me on the 991.
