power steering plus necessary?
[QUOTE=F I definitely WILL NOT go for psp although I know that 4S I've ordered is more likely to have harder steering than 2S due to power on front wheels as well[/QUOTE]
At slow speeds very little if any power is delivered to the front wheels.

This feature only works at low parking lot speeds.
Over a certain speed limit you're in the same situation as a car without the feature.
It's been stated many times before it's a useless option to pay for most people.

I'm not sure I consider a 991 with 20" wheels difficult to park without it. In fact I find the 991 low speed steering forces to be rather low.
Honestly I almost selected the + just because I was checking boxes on my build. But it felt weird at low speeds, felt like I was driving a ford LTD..
Go drive a 72 camero with nice wide tires to find out what what high steering forces at low speed are.
It is a feature that doesn't end up on very many must have's list..

can't do that. have you driven it?

Yes, Plain BS. This is typical negative feedback from someone who has never driven a car with PSP.

Yes, of course. Wouldn't comment if I hadn't. It's a personal choice. If you like the easier, lighter feel at slow speeds, then get it. The OP had asked if it was necessary.

in a 991? I just went into my garage and tried it and no dice. No pinky lexus turning of the wheel.
Is mine different from the rest?
Do you have Power Steering Plus on your car?
