Sport Chrono Package, PASM and 7 Speeed Manual Questions

I will soon be ordering a 991 Carrera S and am trying to decide whether the benefits of the Sport Chrono Package with the manual gearbox are worth the cost. I know that you that you get the Dynamic Engine Mounts which are a benefit no matter the type of transmission and of course you get the stopwatch mounted on the dash. I am wondering about the Sport Plus button. What does it give you beyond the normal sport button that is standard in the S? I'm not planning on getting PASM Sport but wonder if that is essential if you get the Sport Chrono Package.

Any insights as to how the Sport Chrono package will benefit a Manual S and whether PASM Sport is needed as well are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dean

I ordered the Chrono for engine mounts... I have chrono now on my 997.2 with PDK and see no use except for launch control.... I also didn't order PDDC as I like a little understeer.....

Really depends on wether you use sport chrono right now. I always have the sport button on and depending on the pavement tighten up the suspension. It now comes with engine mounts etc.. might be a nice option.

No Sport Plus w/ Manual. I personally wouldn't get a S (PDK or not) w/out SC simply because of resell market.

But as a driver of a manual, I never get moving without pressing SPORT first. Just the increased throttle response is what I want, and I don't want to use a 3rd party device to do it instead.

The other functions of SC are rarely used, to be honest. In the case of the 991 C2S, the Engine Mounts are also a added bonus.
