WOW... Now that's a press LAUNCH!
Man oh man is this ever a cool video!!!
Don't know how many have seen this but if ya haven't... it's a must see!
I found on the cayenne forum (posted by synk).
If I would have been there I would've placed my order right away
The only thing missing is some big @ss explosions and dry-ice fog never the less I'm amazed how they choreographed it to time with the jets...
Enjoy!
Sid.
EDIT, PLEASE CHECK OUT POST #19 FOR THE LATEST UPDATED (WORKING) VIDEO.
sources keep getting pulled...

Wow, I'm so glad I got to see it before it was pulled. I have a feeling the author was asked to pull it by youtube for music copyright infringement. If he wouldn't do it, then they'd have done it for him most likely.
youtube is seriously overdoing this, you'd think by now they'd be rich enough to hire a powerhouse like counsel to at least mitigate these retarded music copyright infringement movies, time for another youtube, an open source youtube.
YouTube needs to sack up - but they get heat by the music industry - an industry that thinks they can still get all the toothpaste back into the tube with a toothpick.
There is a guitar education website (free) where the guy teaches you various songs - the lawyers of WarnerBros contacted him with a cease and desist letter because he'd write out a few lines of a guitar solo from songs. Warner said that they owned the rights and made him take down his "c0cktail napkin" notation - his interpretation. The guy wasn't even charging for his services - just being a nice chap.

As the unofficial 6speed 991 aficionado I would have thought you might have located the full video
I think if we put out the call to all fellow 6speeders collectively we might be able to get full clip, I mean there was at lest 100 people at the launch there's got to be other videos of this event floating around...
You can't stop the signal!
BTW, really enjoy all your posts on the 991, thanks.
Sid.

Got chuck to make a sticky thread to pool our resources, I'm sure there's many other awesome video's out there (although this one truly rocks!)
BTW did you notice that the whole grandstand is actually moving forward out of the hanger during the first Top gun track... that must have really added to the build up for the people attending.

The original video posted, started when they were indoors and the doors were closed with LED screens on them. Then the music came on and the doors opened, then the stands slowly started pushing out of the hanger. The guy panned the camera to the right, then the left as the stands were moving out, to really give the viewer a sense of what was happening. It was chilling how good the theatrics of it were. You really felt as if you were there. The above vid is great also, but it doesn't quite capture what the other one did since it starts a little later. Either case, wow i wish I was there! One day I'll be at one of Porsche's very special launch events hopefully.
