Thanks for posting Suzy. I was looking forward to this comparo and have been fairly disappointed. I think that British car magazines are probably the best in the world and EVO is great, but this EVO video has really mediocre content at best. Ask yourself: what did I learn from that video... pretty much nothing! Another 10 minutes watching a guy going sideways in a 911 and having the revelation that AWD works better under the rain. PLEASE NO MORE 'DRIFTING 911' VIDEO'S, WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THEM!!!

I totally agree. This comparo would have been much more interesting in the dry, and with identical suspension specs. Otherwise, are we expected to believe that the tester can tell which of the differences in dynamics between the two cars is attributable to the 4WD and which to the sport suspension?

A few years ago I was on the track (NJMP Thunderbolt) with two other cars in hard rain. I was driving a 997.1 T4S, a friend was in a 996 4S, and a third driver was in a 997.2RS. By the end of first lap, the GT3 was crying for mercy and pitted in while the 4WD's cars were running near triple digit speeds. Comparing 2WD and 4WD cars in the rain tells you nothing about them in the dry.
