Not rich, actually I only smell gas on cold start for a minute or so then it vanishes.
I did it by:
1- car warmed up right
2- rev it a bit on (Neutral Gear) W/O sports or sports plus
3- once I hear the exhausts pop and crackle, I press the Sports Plus and keep the revs coming BOOOM

Not much grip, Eh?

 

Nope. Not much grip at all. Just enough, but not much.

It's funny, I read snow tire reviews for all the different snow tires and all of them are overblown. Blizzak, Michelin (which these are), Pirelli, Dunlop, I've tried them all over the years and NONE of them are honestly that great. They all barely do the job, but nothing special.

The ONLY snow tires that ever blew my mind were Nokkia Hakkapalitas (sp?) those were crazy grippy. But everything else?

Meh.
