Great vid demonstrating the start/stop technology of the new 991. Important to point out that the engine kicks back on when the driver takes his foot off the brake - not when he presses the accelerator - hence no lag. I've driven a Cayenne Turbo that does this and it's pretty instant. Of course this feature is switchable.

 

OK... that would have me freaking out every single time hahaha.
Not sure if that's something I could get used too... but I'll find out soon enough.

Great to see the 991 next to some 997's... amazing how much higher the back end is.

Impressive - Not only a good demonstration of the exhaust - also the freaky fast shifting of the PDK. I was like "whaaaaat?"

 

Absolutely right so quick and seamless, equally impressive was the grip in the icy conditions.

Also love the look without the excessive logos.
