both nice and sexy, guards red in more young fly and flashy, ruby red is a little more reserved....

Can there be anything more classic than a bright red Porsche?

GUARDS RED got my vote.

The only thing more classic would be a bright red ferrari. But I would rule out that purchase because of its ridiculous maintenance costs.

Arrest Me Red

I read a test drive review in Car & Driver years ago on the then new 911. It was delivered to the publication in "Arrest Me red." Porsche's name (according to the writer) for Guard's Red. Loved that.
Personally, I like the Ruby Red. Feels more contemporary. Add a saddle interior. Beautiful.

Guards for me.... I'm not feeling the maroonish appeal that ruby red puts forth.... kinda boring, which ruins it IMHO

Yeah... you cant even drive it because of the maintenance on it; a Ferrari with 30,000 km on it is considered "used up".... its not even the cost that bothers me......its the hassle

Everything old is new again. Guards red was "the color" in the late 70's to early 80's models.

Just sayin. At my dealership no one likes it. It's always been a tough sell.

Get a grip guys. It's not like I insulted someones wife. It's a car for Christ's sake.

My 997.2 is Aqua and I love it but I just can't get two in a row the same color. Went for Ruby Red on the just orded 991.

I really like the Ruby Red....the Guards red can look a little orange in some lights. Also, really like the wheels on Ruby red 991!!
