large outside, but still cozy in the front seat. Didn't really love the new look - prefer the 997, but maybe it'll grow on me. But the real focus on my comments is for those who are ordering the manual transmission. As reported, the footwell is very tight for 3 pedals (+ the dead pedal) - this car was definitely engineered for PDK. I think those with big feet may have some problems. There is little room between the dead pedal and the brake, so I'm guessing that they will have to offset pedals towards the console to fit the clutch pedal. The seats seem wonderful - I sat in a car with the 18 position adjustable seats and they are fine even for the "broad beamed", unlike the older adaptive seats. The headlights will take some getting used to also - the bubble look is not that graceful on this car.

Totally agree. I love the new look of the 991 since day 1. But I cannot deny that the foot well is not that roomy. Whatever, that won't keep me out of a 991. The full msrp will though. But seriously, if anyone got anything off of MSRP off of their 991 in the LA/SD area, please pm me. I would really appreciate it.

 

If you would like any serious amount off msrp, I would suggest waiting another year. For a while it's going to be full msrp or very close to it.

I'd pounce on 3.5% off. I am not asking for an arm and a leg.

So I will be shopping around and see what I get. From what I've seen, many around the LA area are just window shoppers and are not serious yet.

 

You might get that, just need to start calling or emailing dealerships across the country, someone will be hungry enough for the business and they could transport the car to you for sure. Do you have to buy from a s.cal dealer?
