Would the turbo likely have the same air box setup?

From what I can tell they're just standard filters. Realistically, the rear bumper and lights come off pretty quickly, so it's not that bad...but still definitely a PITA compared to a simple airbox.

Doubtful....the turbo will have a totally different decklid so the airbox will most likely be in a totally different place.

So while our shop 991 is still up in the air getting tinkered with, we had a customer car in the shop for our PDK paddle shifter upgrade. The good news is that the steering wheel system is essentially identical, so our paddle upgrade goes right in without any issues.

Between the high price of a well specd car and the crazy air box placement, the turbo I'd looking better and better. And the 125+ HP increase is nice also.

Thanks for the info and photos.

total BS on P's part. removing the fan housing and spoiler for an Oil change is absurd. There's no way this can be the same for the upcoming GT car.

Can you guys create a "Quick release kit"?!!!!

You need to remove the rear bumper and tail lights completely to access the airbox.
I'm told that the service interval is 40,000 miles for the filter change. R&R time is said to be an hour. That's probably a major service interval anyway.
