The old side markers were better finished. I know, I am splitting hairs here...

I don't know about splitting hairs, but perhaps you could resolve the eternal question, is '**** retentive' hyphenated?

omitting the hyphen could cause confusion among those who are literal-minded

Fresh from the paddocks by a friend a couple of minutes ago:

Live streaming was available on imsa.com (and 3 hours this AM on Fox Sports 1), not perfect but it's a start. 2 wins in a row in GTLM and victory in GTD this time with Magnus Racing. Porsche is going to dominate the season on both sides of the Atlantic.

The only other new car that did well was the SRT Viper that arrived second in GTLM. The first 'Vette was #6 in GTLM (was #5 in its class at Daytona if I remember well)

The car certainly looks cool, but so far , it did not exactly live up to the initial expectations..."considering the history of success, it might be safe money to bet on the C7R in its first piece of racing action" .

Serge,

What is different with the Turbo side marker?

I want to see someone switch out to the Turbo's DRL. I think they look very cool.

Here's some exciting last 21 minutes at Daytona. The camera / antenna equipment on this car must have added another .5 sq feet of drag. There was another video of it showing full 360 control on the outside and ****pit shots also. The engine / transmission sound is incredible. Congratulations Porsche 911!!!!!

I think the new ones have LED bulbs and are flatter to fit more flush that than the originals.

Yes, they are slimmer, due to the LED emitters rather than an incandescent. The ones i just installed this weekend were from the Turbo. They do look much much better!
