The new 991 C4S!!
However the wing is mounted on the decklid rather than on (or replacing) the wing...
If you look at the pics you'll see what I mean.
Ya see it sits very high up towards the rear window/seats and with a cab that would mean it's actually mounted on the "crescent section" which covers the roof... so when deploying the roof that section + the wing would be raised... I don't know if that going to look right never mind what happens when doing this at 30 mph hehehe!

But keep the suggestions coming!
Hehehehehe
At the risk of being politically incorrect (although I passed that stage about 50 pages back
)... if a situation like that does come to pass I have central locking doors and launch control!!!
No for the most part (Nuns and Grandma's excluded) I'm lucky enough to have some very good looking passengers!

Yep on one hand it looks good but on the other I'm not sure if it works with the more rounded shapes present in the 991's rear end...
I too tend to think the vertical part which connects the wing (incl. the "box" which houses the break-light) is too "angular".
Now I can have those rather sharp edges sanded down a bit but I won't be able to go as far as to actually giving it a rounder (more flowing) shape...
I'm sure the 991 Turbo cab will have a good looking set up for it's rear wing but I'm not sure anymore when that is actually going to be released...
It's too bad that the stock wing looks so "unfinished"... I love everything about the 991 except for the elec. handbrake and the rear "wing".
It really looks like you forgot to close the trunk without any louvers or finishing system which would fill that space below it when deployed.
I have not been able to find anything else relating to this type of (larger) wing for a 991 cab, but if you guys have please post up!
Precisely my concern as well!
Not sure about either of those options Sid. The Techart spoiler looks like an afterthought for the cab and the Caractere spoiler just looks odd, maybe its the mounting. I still prefer the Aerokit, I know that doesn't help you with the cab.
If Techart only made one that was between the Coupe and Cab versions in terms of height and made it a more delicate looking I think that would not be a bad option.

But I'm with a few other fellas here, dunno if these options are looking good. I'm battling between the lines of the car aesthetically from the side view look from the front, the side view of the wing, and directly from behind.
The one that looks matte white just doesn't work for me, and as before, the angular look of the black/red shots feels like something is missing.
Maybe hang out for a bit while these aftermarket companies draw up something better? But, I think the ducktail would look cool (my 2 cents)
Does the rear wing still go up? If so, any pics of that? Curious to know how this would look on a cab (whether it would work or not too)
Yeah I looked at the Caractere design and it looks like it belong on the 991 much more than the Techart

Thanks for the feedback fellas!
Yep, I'd be able to do some serious "re-shaping" but it's a dirty, smelly and time consuming job... not to mention that to start customzing the custom pieces ya just bought at full price... been there done that, not looking to get into that again (famous last word!).
Yep I agree with both of you!
I suspect though that the reason it sits so low is to allow the roof covering body section to clear the wing when deploying/detracting the roof..
This has always been an issue for cabs, manufactures keep the full size wing base (used on a coupe) and just drop the wing on it as low as it can go... the results are something just doesn't look right...
The ducktail has really grown on me, it looks so much better in real life than in pics, especially on the coupe, I like it a lot actually!
That said I'm not sure not sure about it on a cab... but the main thing is that it is not available by itself, you have to get the front bumper as well and I'm really set to put a 991 GT3 front bumper.
Rear wing still works but imo the Caractere wing is just to small and it's position is too high up on the back end.
It kinda reminds me of a white starched collar "put up"...

I have to agree with you...it almost looks like a Chrysler crossfire...and that wing is hideous.

Just popping my head back into the sandbox here to say "hi"!
Fester - Congrats!!!! She is gorgeous. All of that time spent tweaking your build has really paid off. I hadn't liked the painted lip and mirror bases in other photos, but your car has me sold on them. Just awesome! I think it's a really good look on the GT silver.
Sid - I'm sorry to hear that you had some rockiness with your dealer, but I am glad the road is smooth again for you. I can't believe it's built! I think you are for certain going to be one of the first C4S cabs in north america... hopefully you will get some warm days when it arrives to drop that top!
I'm not sure about the spoiler options you've posted. I definitely prefer the Techart to the Caractere (which I do not like at all - at least in those photos). I'm sure there will be more options coming out soon... hopefully by the time that you can get your hands on that GT3 bumper.
As for my car... I'm still loving every minute we get to spend together. Had her out in the snow a bit on Saturday night and the AWD + Michelin Alpins were very stable and safe feeling.
Burmester and PSE are both amazing and were worth every penny. If I had to order again they would be the first boxes checked. This car is a feast for the ears whether you are are highway cruising or really pushing it. These two work perfectly together to support the split personality of the 991.
The car pulls hard. Harder than I expected, really. I was a little worried that it would feel underpowered (my last car was an RS4 at 420HP), but being about 600lbs lighter makes a big difference (obviously).
I can't really comment much on handling, as the car is on winter tires and I haven't gotten out of the city much to drive it hard, but around town the standard PASM suspension seems to be a great fit. I had wanted to order SPASM, but my salesman talked me out of it, knowing that I am stuck doing 80%+ of my driving in NYC. As much as I hate to admit it, I think he was probably right. Around town I wouldn't want it any firmer than the PASM in the stiffer setting.
While I am not planning any major modifications on this car, I've already had my hand forced and the first mod has been ordered. It's a sickness most of us are infected with.
I run winter and summer tires here in the northeast and on my previous car I had two sets of OEM wheels so that I simply swapped wheels rather than re-mounting/balancing tires twice a year. Once the 991 came in and I was happy with the the platinum wheels with the overall look of the car I got pricing for another set of them for the summer. WOW! Welcome to the world of Porsche parts! Quotes were from $6300 - $9200! So after some research I wound up going with a forged, aftermarket option for a fair amount less money. I can't wait to see the results. I'm keeping what I picked a secret for now, but I am hoping to have them by the end of March (just in time for the warm weather and spring photos).
