Carrera S wheels in satin platinum finish
I don't know... it looks a little washed out to me in that shot. Maybe its just the photo because I would think it would look great!
I'm not convinced these wheels will look that great with Platinum Silver. I'm leaning towards getting PS myself and was trying to decide if these wheels would work on that color or not. My dealer has a couple of cars with the satin finished wheels, but they are all dark colored cars (e.g. black and blue). They were in close proximity to a platinum silver 991 and my initial thought was "nope, that wheel on a PS car is not for me". I think the colors (PS and satin) are too close together to work well. E.g. you don't have enough contrast and you don't have an exact match.
That being said, they are beautiful wheels. I know colors (and wheel choices) come down to personal perference, so others may not feel the same way I do. Just my $0.02 on this.

I love the look of the platinum wheel, and I love platinum silver, but unlike choc. & peanut butter.... not so perfect together. Just my opinion. (they look great on the red 991 at the middle of this thread)
The standard brite aluminum finish on most of the wheels is a nice contrast to the silver.
I like all the wheels except for the new 5 spokes. I saw them in person at the roadshow and they're okay, but it's like porsche tried to adapt cragar (sp?) rims from an old camaro. They look light though.

If you are still looking for pictures of the 991 in platinum silver with the platinum wheels, take a look at my 991.
+1 agreed
