John S 211 is infamous around these parts
I can tell you that I ordered the 7MT sight unseen ---- just couldn't imagine my first 911 with an auto trans, excellent PDK notwithstanding.

Happy to report that me and my size 12, hoops beaten feet have plenty of room to work in the footwell. And the 7MT exceeds my highest expectations.

991 better for heel n toe

I had rennline pedals on my 997.2, and was going to get them for the new car (991 3.4 manual). But I don't need them in the new car to heel n toe. One big asteric here: I have size 13 feet -47 euro. So I actuall blip the gas with the ball of my pinky toe (the right most part of the foot).

The 991 gas and brake are noticably better situated for this than the 997.2 was.
